Entnazifizierung bedeutet für uns auch ein sofortiges Verbot der AfD. Die AfD versucht mit ihrer rechten Hetze menschenverachtende Politik und Rhetorik salonfähig zu machen. Sie verbreitet nicht nur ein zutiefst rassistisches Weltbild, sondern auch Antisemitismus, Antifeminismus und Queerfeindlichkeit.

Das führt für viele Menschen dazu, dass sie sich nicht mehr sicher fühlen können und sogar Angst um ihr Leben haben müssen. Das ist nicht hinnehmbar.

Was uns auch klar ist: Mit einem AfD Verbot allein ist es nicht getan. Die faschistische AfD-Rhetorik wird längst auch von Politiker:innen anderer Parteien wie der CDU übernommen. Auch Forderungen, wie z.B. die Forderung nach großangelegten Abschiebungsaktionen, sind längst in der sogenannten „politischen Mitte“angekommen.

Gegen die europäische Abschottungspolitik

Das zeigt sich auch in Verschärfungen der Asylgesetzgebung. Das Sterben auf dem Mittelmeer wird schon lange normalisiert und hingenommen. Mit Verschärfungen von Gesetzen, wie zuletzt durch das Gemeinsame Europäische Asylsystem (GEAS), wird es immer mehr auch aktiv gefördert.

Anders als uns Politiker:innen glauben lassen wollen, sagen wir: Das Sterben auf dem Mittelmeer und die Kriminalisierung von Menschen auf der Flucht kann und muss beendet werden.

Fluchtursachen und die Ausbeutung des sogenannten „globalen Südens“ und koloniale Kontinuitäten müssen bekämpft werden. Ebenso wenig wie es eine Rechtfertigung für die europäische Abschottungspolitik gibt, gibt es eine Rechtfertigung für Abschiebungen oder unterschiedliche Rechte für migrantisierte Menschen oder Geflüchtete.

Soziale und politische Rechte müssen für alle durchgesetzt werden. Ausnahmslos und von Anfang an.

Abschiebungen müssen verboten und verhindert werden.

Gegen strukturellen Rassismus

Doch nicht nur in Parlamenten und Parteien sind Rechtsextreme aktiv. Seit Jahren organisieren sie sich auch ungestört in Polizei, Bundeswehr und Behörden. Halle, Hanau, Kassel, NSU – es gibt zahlreiche Beispiele dafür, wie der Staat immer wieder darin versagt, Opfer vor rassistischer und rechtsextremer Gewalt zu schützen.

Bilel, Nahel, Mouhamed und so viele mehr. In Mülheim an der Ruhr wurde Ibrahim, ein geflüchteter Mann aus Guinea, erst vor wenigen Tagen durch einen Polizeieinsatz mit Taser ermordet. Ebenso starb in Aachen in der gleichen Woche eine Person in Polizeigewahrsam. Nicht mal der Name ist bekannt. Damit müssen auch staatliche Strukturen Teil unserer Kritik und unseres Protests sein.

The inhumane policy of Fortress Europe, racist police murders, secret Nazi meetings, and plans to deport millions of migrants: Enough is enough! Take to the streets, loud and united. Against racist policies and for denazification!

For an immediate ban on the AfD!

For us, denazification also means an immediate ban on the AfD. The AfD is trying to make inhuman politics and rhetorics acceptable with its right-wing agitation. It not only promotes a deeply racist worldview but also anti-Semitism, anti-feminism, and queerophobia. For many people, this means they can no longer feel safe and must even fear for their lives. That is unacceptable! However, we are aware that banning the AfD alone is not enough. Politicians from other parties, such as the CDU, have long adopted the fascist AfD rhetoric. Demands, such as the call for large-scale deportation operations, have also long since arrived in the so-called “political centre”.

Against the inhumane European border policy

We also see this trend in the tightening of asylum legislation. Countless deaths in the Mediterranean have long been normalised and accepted. With stricter laws, such as the recent Common European Asylum System (CEAS), things are even getting worse. Contrary to what politicians want to get us to believe, we say that the deaths in the Mediterranean and the criminalisation of refugees can and must be stopped. The causes of flight and the exploitation of the so-called “Global South” and colonial continuities must be combated. Just as there is no justification for the European border policy, there is no justification for deportations or different rights for migrants or refugees. Human rights are universal! Thus, social and political rights must be enforced for all — without exception, and from the very beginning. Deportations must be banned and prevented.

Against structural racism

However, right-wing extremists are not only active in parliaments and parties. For years, they have also been organising themselves undisturbed in the police, armed forces and authorities. Halle, Hanau, Kassel, NSU — there are numerous examples of how the state repeatedly fails to protect victims from racist and right-wing extremist violence that even leads to death: Bilel, Nahel, Mouhamed, and so many more. In Mülheim an der Ruhr, Ibrahim, a refugee from Guinea, was murdered just a few days ago by police using a Taser. A person also died in police custody in Aachen in the same week. Not even the name is known. That is why state structures must also be part of our criticism and protest.

For united solidarity — anti-fascist + anti-racist

We call on everyone to take to the streets with us on Tuesday, 16 January 2024, against racist policies and for denazification. As a vibrant civil society and as anti-racists and anti-fascists, we must go on the offensive and collectively demonstrate: Enough is enough! Loud and angry, but above all, in solidarity and united.
